Kurt Sutter As Otto Delaney

This week I thought it would be a great idea to make a post about the man behind the creation of Sons of Anarchy. If it weren't for Kurt Sutter, there would be no Sons of Anarchy. For those of you who do not know, Kurt Sutter also portrays Otto Delaney in SOA, and he is married to Katey Sagal (Gemma Teller) in real life. The two have three children together.

As a young kid he did not do well in school and came from a broken family. After watching lots of television and exploring his imagination he discovered his ability to come up with creative ideas for stories.
Relating to last weeks post, Sutter uses his resources well by having technical advisors such as David LaBrava help out with the show. Along with this Sutter also took some time to interact with an outlaw club in California as research for his writing for Sons of Anarchy. This all proved successful as the show is a hit.
Sons of Anarchy is currently on its fifth season. The show is so successful that FX recently signed a three year deal to continue playing Sons of Anarchy and create other projects with Sutter in the process. Some of his hobbies include playing video games and oddly birds, which probably makes you think of Gemma's bird obsession in the show just like I did.

Check out my David LaBrava post and Gemma Teller post as well!

  2. I didn't know that Otto and Gemma were married in real life. That's really cool. I'm excited for the "The Last Ride". The show is set up for a great ending. http://www.ontarioinjured.com
